24.Salamanca–Calzada de Valdunciel

(3)Castellanos - (4)Calzada de Valdunciel: 7,2-16,8 (4,6 km)

We leave Salamanca by plaza Mayor and Zamora street, straight ahead until we reach a roundabout at 2.0 km where we have to take the Agustinos recoletos Avenue. This avenue will take us out of Salamanca passing the Helmantico football stadium (photo 1 km 4.4).

At 5.6 km (photo 2) while travelling on the N-630 we will see a turnoff to the left that will take us to the centre of Aldeaseca de Armuña. We cross the village and take a left to get to the path (photo 3 km 7.2) that will take us in12.2 km to Castellanos de Villiquera (photo 4). In Castellanos there is one bar but it is on the highway, not part of the camino, it is a detour.

Without shade and between cultivated fields (photo 5), we travel 4.6 km on a good surface between Castellanos and Calzada de Valdunciel. We find the hostel on the same road just at the town exit.
