2.Guillena-Castilblanco

Attention cyclists: Between km 2.8 and 7.1 there can be a lot of mud according to the time of the year. If you go by bike and there is mud, it is better to go back and take the bicycle option that passes through burguillos (see route in orange)

We head down the street from the Guillena Hostel in a few meters turning right towards the river. If the river allows it, we cross it and follow the road until a junction with a roundabout. If the river does not allow us to cross, continue on the same road until the next roundabout.

At the roundabout we continue to the industrial area, then cross to take a dirt road on the left. This roadpasses through fields of olive and orange trees, with a slight but continuous slope (photo 1 km 4.1).

At the end of the road after 7.1 km (photo 2) leave the orange groves and olive trees and enter a meadow, scrubland, cork and holm oak (photo 3 km 8.0). Please note: this is not very practicable route for bicycles, therefore it is better to get off and push.

After passing a couple of fences finally we arrive at a road, turn left. Without leaving the road we arrive at the Hostel Castilblanco.
