8.Asturianos-Puebla de Sanabria

We leave the hostel Asturianos along the street Castro Alto (photo 1) to the N-525 highway, which we follow for a few metres to reach a turn on our right and we continue along this road.

We walk a few hundred meters along this road and take a left to leave the road onto a path, later a tarmac road and then a track to pass through the top of Palacios de Sanabria (photo 2 km 3.5).

We leave Palacios de Sanabria and cross a road to get onto a little path. This little path leads us, after crossing two roads, to Remesal (photo 3 km 5.8).

We cross Remesal and continue until we reach the A-52 where we continue for a few metres down a parallel road until we cross over a bridge. At km 8.4 (photo 4) we arrive at Otero de Sanabria.

Leaving the town along a secondary road (photo 5 km 9.6) we again cross the motorway, this time underneath, after which we arrive in Triufe (photos 6 and 7).

We bypass the town and continue along the secondary road (photo 8 km 12.3) which brings us to a junction of the new motorway which joins to the N-525 (photo 9 km 12.9). We continue along the road until the next roundabout where we take a left and enter into Puebla de Sanabria by the Villacasín-Vigo highway (photo 10 km 14.1) which becomes the road Padre Vincente Salgado.
