Description

We leave the Hostel Galisteo along la avenue del Puente Romano until we reached the Roman bridge (photo 1 km 1.2) and we continue straight up to a roundabout where we take the road from Galisteo to Carcaboso (photo 2 km 3.2).

The road passes through the small town of Aldehuela del Jerte (photo 3 km 6.2) and we continue along the road (photo 4) until km 10.8 (photo 5) which leads to the EX-370, the highway from Carcaboso to Plasencia. We make a left turn and a few meters from there we find the Hostel Carcaboso.

Information for pilgrims

17.Galisteo–Carcaboso is pilgrim accommodation located on the Silver Way, commonly used by walkers travelling this route and looking for a place to rest before continuing the stage.

This establishment is part of the accommodation network available along the Camino and can be an alternative to traditional hostels or other types of lodging in the area.
