9.Puebla de Sanabria-Requejo

We leave Puebla de Sanabria from the calle Padre Vicente Salgado and after crossing the bridge (photo 1 km 0.2) we turn right and take the Vigo-Villacasin highway. We pass the hotel “los Perales” and follow the road (photo 2 km 1.3) until the way leaves the highway on the left (photo 3 km 1.8).

The way continues parallel to the river Castro on left (photos 4 and 5) and the N-525 on the right until 6.4 km (photo 6 km 4.7) where the way turns onto the road.

We follow the N-525 to the junction with the road to Santa Colomba where we turn left along a path that crosses a stream. This path only brings us about 500 metres before returning us to the road, where after a few meters we take a right turn off of it. This path leads to the church of Santiago (photo 7 km 9.2) then turns left to cross the road, where we take a shortcut across the football field and enter Terroso.

We cross Terrroso along the street calle Cabecero and leave crossing over the A-52 to continue on a path going slightly uphill. We continue and again cross over the motorway along to the N-525 exit where we enter Requejo. We pass through the first roundabout and at the next street turn right into the municipal hostel.
