Description
Leaving the hostel you take the Mombuey exit road (photo 1). The road runs parallel to the N-525 highway for 2.8 km (photo 2), where you take a left turn to cross the motorway over a bridge (photo 3). We continue straight ahead (photo 4 and 5) until reaching the village of Valdemerilla (photo 6) via a dirt road in good condition.
From Valdemerilla to Cernadilla there is 3.4 km that we pass along on a path in good condition (photos 7 and 8).
From Cernadilla to San Salvador de Palazuelo there is only 1.4 km of road (photos 9 and 10) with little traffic passing along it.
We cross San Salvador de Palazuelo, leave the village and follow a road in good condition until we get to Entrepeñas which we cross along the main street. Just outside the village we leave the road and go onto a path which after wet weather can be quite muddy. The path crosses a bridge over the motorway where we are only 1.5 km from Asturianos.
We continue along the dirt road (photo 18). We arrive to Asturianos entering past the cemetery (photo 19 km 16.7) and crossing the road to continue straight on. If you want to stay in the hostel, there is a sign that indicates its direction: it is 500 metres away in a building attached to the sports center.
If you want to continue the camino you can take a left turn following the road to the End of the town where you get back onto the camino.
