Description
We leave Alija del Infantado along the LE-114 highway (photo 1 km 0.6). We cross the town along the main street (photo 2 km 1.0) and continue along the same highway (photo 3).
At 4.3 km mark (photo 4) we leave the highway and take a right in the direction of Nora del Rio. After approximately 100 metres we come to a left turn (photo 5 km 4.4) and we take the path that runs along parallel to a ditch.
We follow the well signed path (photos 6 and 7) until we arrive at Quintana del Marco (photo 8 km 9.9). Continue straight until Villanueva de Jamuz and two kilometres further along we arrive close to Santa Elena de Jamuz, but instead of crossing the bridge over the river and entering the town we take a right turn onto a track.
Some 200 metres more travelling straight and we take a left, where there is a small big-wheel. After we continue straight through we get to the LE-114 and the exit to Santa Elena de Jamuz. We continue along the LE-114 for 3 kilometers until the entrance to La Bañeza (photo 9).
