28.Zamora–Montamarta

We leave the hostel of Zamora by the road Ramos Carrion and take a left at the Plaza mayor to take the road calle de la Reina which brings us to Avenida de Galicia which we follow for 1.5 km until we meet a roundabout where we take a left. At the next roundabout before entering the industrial estate of Hiniesta (Polígono industrial de la Hiniesta), we take a right to get to the ZA-900 highway.

At 3.7 km of the stage we take a right turn onto the camino, next to what looks like a rubbish dump (photo 1) and continue along a dirt track (photo 2). We cross a motorway at 5.2 km (photo 3), and 7.1 km from the hostel of Zamora we find ourselves in the town centre of Roales del Pan.

We leave Roales del Pan and passing on our right the geriatric hospital Vía de la Plata we take the path (photos 4 and 5) which runs more or less parallel but away from the N-630. After we arrive at Montamarta, at 17.0 km (photo 6) we see a gas station on our right. If you want to stay at the hostel you should take a right in the direction of the gas station. The hostel is located at the foot of the N-630, a few metres away from the gas station on the right hand side of the highway. If you do not want to stay in the hostel, continue straight.
